In compliance of the PCI/AICTE directives for prevention of caste based discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions, a committee with the following members is hereby constituted to look into the complaints of any act of discrimination against SC/ST students/teachers/non-teaching staff:-I

Complaints, if any, may be submitted in writing on a plain paper to the Administrative Officer (Admn.) or sent through email at info@aryanbj.org.

In order to prevent caste-based discrimination and other forms of discrimination. AYRA College of Pharmacy has constituted the Anti-Discrimination Committee. The members of this committee will oversee steps to prevent any kind of discrimination at campus on the basis gender, race, caste, marital or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, or disability.

Terms of Reference

  • Institute a facility by mail for lodging complaints of discrimination by members of AYRA College community.
  • Look into the complaints of any act of discrimination against persons belonging to SC/ST students/teachers/non-teaching staff and making decisions; and discrimination against person based on other prohibited grounds mentioned above.
  • Monitoring action taken and resolution of all the complaints related to discrimination.
  • Develop a Policy framework to prevent discrimination in institute Premise and also take educational & awareness measures to combat discrimination & promote integration.
  • Recommend measures to help improve substantive equality.

Periodicity of Meetings

The Committee shall meet at least once in six month or as often as may be needed.

Objectives:

  • To ensure transparency by technical institute imparting technical education in admissions.
  • Preventing unfair practices.
  • Complaints of alleged discrimination by students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC, Women, Minority or Disabled Categories, scholarship issues and sexual harassment.
  • To provide a mechanism to innocent students and stakeholders for redressal of their grievances.
